1. Stick to free weights.

6. Don't forget the most essential component

One of the most important aspects of any home gym is open space. With some space, you will have more exercise variety with those free weights as you can move freely around the room instead of being restricted to standing in one place. It will also create a less stuffy and cramped space that may stifle the motivation to exercise.
